A resident and native of North Caroina, artist Kyle Sutton is a masterful oil painter exhibiting great detail and foucus on his subject matter. In the early 1990s when he moved from eastern North Carolina to the mountains of Asheville he began doing oil paintings of his wife riding horses in competition. Later, after taking two trips to Israel, he began painting landscapes of The Holy Land.
Sutton completed his Bachelor of Theology degree in Asheville in May of 1998. The Lord placed a specific calling on his life to witness to Jewish people, especially those of Sydney, Australia where over 35,000 Jewish people live. He has spent the past two and a half years traveling the southeast preaching in churches and talking about his ministry in order to raise support to go to this foreign field. Kyle and his family have plans of leaving June the 1st for special ministry, going to God's Chosen People.
In recent months the artist has begun painting biblical themes. His first painting was a watercolor of "The Garden Tomb". Just recently he has completed the second in this series which is a detailed oil painting entitled "Master of the Sea" which depicts Jesus calming the stormy sea of Galilee. Both of these prints are now available. The proceeds from these two prints will be used towards moving expenses to Australia and to help him get established in his ministry.
